i’m still on my leave day today. me and my mom went to itc kuningan. she needed to buy the headscarf to match with her green kebaya.
i found 2 kebayas that i like for part of my seserahan. but i need to consult with -f- about this. so i just took pictures of them.
and another finding for today is batik cirebon that i’ve been looking for a long time. i saw a cute summer dress in bya line, but too bad it’s not for sale. then i found the fabric in jelita.
i met the designer yesterday and here is the sketch of my wedding kebaya. after the meeting, we headed to mayestic to buy the fabric. of course i’ve been hearing the glory of mayestic, but shame on me, i’ve never been there (the time when i was a kid doesn’t count). it turned out mayestik was not that fun. i like shopping in de moda better and of course it’s closer to home compare to mayestik.
i didn’t know brokat paris is so expensive. huhuhu…. i hate to spend so much for something i wear only for a few hours. tapi sudahlah.
i’ll only make 1 kebaya. ga akan acara adat atau apapun. cuma nikah yg kemudian dilanjutkan kemudian dengan syukuran pernikahan. the fabric will be broken white. i want the kebaya to be not too white and have a little payet here and there with colors.

belitung is on my wish list of places to be visited. the island with crystal clear water that get its fame after laskar pelangi. but because it’s not that far from jakarta (compare to manado), i think we can visit it later just for a long weekend.
we’ll save the place for the sequel honeymoon.
there were total 11 people attending the engagement day from both side of family. small number compare to typical indonesian family. it was very fine. my mom was a bit nervous and stress, kept screaming the food is not enough.
it was in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner. we bought sate pancoran and bakmi gm (including the famous pangsit goreng). the food was delicious, but it was not warm enough.
got sunflower for the engagement day. bought in kemang rp 35.000 for 10. i think the flower really made the room. and it’s the flower of wedding’s theme.
berkunjung ke pasar kue subuh blok m on the morning of engagement day. so many cakes, so little time. kue yang diincar adalah yang sudah diatur cantik diatas talam & daun pisang, tapi ternyata yang pakai talam bambu lagi ga jualan. mungkin karena masih dekat lebaran jadi masih libur.
we bought 2 trays with various kue basah beautifully place on them.
here’s the outfit for the engagement day. no, i won’t wear kebaya since it will be a simple engagement party. only our small family will be there.

i probably won’t wear shoes since it will be at home anyway.
my mom is so happy because she has the opportunity to use her old zwibelmuster collection. it’s so old that it’s still written made in czechoslovakia, the country you can’t find on today’s world map anymore.
we just realized we don’t have small bowls! maybe it will be combine will plain white bowl that we have.
i’ve been wanting to get the morrocan rose from the body shop since it was first released. but i still have a few bottles of parfum at home, so i think it will be a waste to buy a new one (padahal udah dipake tiap hari tapi ga abis2).
now because of seserahan i have an excuse to get it! and i bought it already. yay!

we want to skip bali and lombok as honeymoon destination. it will be more excited to visit the places we have never been like manado. we will spend 2 nights in manado city and another 2 nights around bunaken. i loooove snorkeling. and it has been a long time since my last snorkeling trip.
